45 minutes, one coach, no membership needed to try it
We are a coach-led box, not a card-swipe gym. Every hour on the clock is programmed, scaled and watched — whether you deadlifted last Tuesday or last decade.
Owner & head coach
Opened the Tiger Way doors in 2015 after a decade of coaching high-school athletes in Fayette County. Writes the weekly programming and still takes the 5am hour.
On-ramp lead
Runs the fundamentals block and every beginner's first eight weeks. Her whole job is making sure nobody's first month feels like being thrown into the deep end.
Strength & engine
Handles the barbell cycle and the rowing and running work. If you want a number on the board to move by a specific date, he is the coach you book privately.
Nobody here trains for a living. These are members who found an hour, kept showing up and let the numbers do the talking.
Brandon · 41 · Pilot, 14 months in
“I came in unable to hang from the rig. The coaches gave me a band, then a smaller band, then nothing. Nobody rushed it.”
Alexis · 33 · Nurse, 2 years in
“Night shifts wrecked my old routine. The 5am and the 6:30pm hours mean I never have to skip a whole week again.”
Curt · 58 · Retired, 3 years in
“My cardiologist asked what changed. I told him a coach writes it down for me and then watches me do it.”
“A good hour is loud, and then it is quiet while somebody finishes their last round with five people yelling for them.”
Eleven years ago this was 4,800 square feet of empty concrete with a leaky roll-up door. Today it holds a full rig, two rows of platforms, more rowers than we strictly need, and a whiteboard that has carried a lot of people through hard years.
What has not changed: a coach greets you at the door, learns your name in week one and knows what your shoulder does not like by week three. Class caps stay small on purpose. If the hour is full, we would rather you take the next one than get lost in a crowd of thirty.
Members are teachers, pilots out of Falcon Field, nurses, retirees and a stubborn number of golf-cart commuters. Ages run from 15 to 71 and everything gets scaled without a fuss.
No one gets dropped into a competition workout on day one. Here is the actual route from the front door to the 6am regulars.
STEP 01
Coffee, a tour, your training history and injuries. We move a little so we can see how you squat, hinge and press.
STEP 02
Six small-group sessions on the nine core movements. Empty bars first, load only once the shape holds.
STEP 03
You join the daily hour with your scaling written next to your name. A coach checks in after every session.
STEP 04
We retest the benchmarks from your intro, set the next quarter's targets and decide if you want barbell work on top.
We would rather tell you now than take a signup that goes cold in six weeks.
Warm-up to clean-up fits inside sixty minutes. You do not have to plan a workout, and there is no thirty minutes of wandering between machines.
Roughly half of our on-ramp has not trained since school. Nobody here remembers what you lifted on your first day, and everybody remembers their own.
If your bench has not moved in two years, the fix is usually programming and a coach's eyes, not another machine circuit.
A season, a Spartan heat, a hunting trip in Colorado. Give us the date and the training works backwards from it.
No. That is the whole reason the on-ramp exists. Your first six sessions run in a group of four or fewer with a coach who is only watching you.
Unlikely. Our members run from 15 to 71 and the mid-morning classes skew older on purpose. The 5am hour is mostly people getting it done before work.
It depends on whether you want the daily class, the on-ramp or private hours, so we give you the number in person at your intro. No contracts with a twelve-month tail.
Usually yes, with modifications. Tell the coach at the intro, bring anything your physical therapist wrote down, and we will build around it rather than through it.
Book the free intro first. It takes 45 minutes and ends with a coach telling you exactly which hour and which program to start with.
Drop in on a class, watch an hour from the side, or take the free intro. Nobody signs anything on the first visit.
